I am a tax lawyer with six years of experience in helping both national and international clients to solve complex tax issues and design efficient tax structures. I love dealing with challenging tax matters involving other areas of expertise.
I grew up in Madrid, where I earned my law degree at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid while playing in the Liga Nacional de Fútbol Americano – the Spanish American Football League - as a linebacker. I started working for a prestigious Spanish law firm during my senior year at the University. After two years in this position, I decided to gain further qualifications, and completed an LLM program at the IE Law School, with honors.
As an associate with DLA Piper’s tax team, I have worked with both buyers and sellers on a number of M&A deals, tackling everything from the due diligence process to tax structuring schemes.
Outside working hours, I love riding my Harley-Davidson through natural landscapes and traveling around the globe. I am an art lover, and this is why my fiancée and I have decided to study for another degree, in art history, through Spain's National University for Distance Education (UNED).
