I am a corporate attorney who enjoys solving problems and creating value for my clients through exceptional legal work. I love learning new things at my job, but I also understand the value of the tried and true.
I grew up in Berkeley, California, and then moved to the East Coast for undergrad at Brown University. After college, I lived in New York City for two years, where I worked as a paralegal and generally enjoyed that NYC life. I earned my law degree at Harvard Law School, where I was involved with the Harvard Journal of Law & Technology as an article editor, and with the Transactional Law Clinics, where I helped small business owners with their legal needs.
Now back in California as an associate with DLA Piper’s Silicon Valley team, I have formed new companies and advised on the early stage corporate challenges that many startups face, represented companies and investors in venture financing rounds, and worked with sellers and buyers in the sale and acquisition of mature businesses.
Outside of work, I am passionate about hiking and backpacking. I’ve made many trips to Yosemite and trekked through the Andes in the Patagonia region of Chile and the Amazon basin of Bolivia. I also love trying new foods, writing and listening to music, and spending time with my fiancée and our dog.
