As a corporate lawyer in the Moscow office, I provide legal support to clients on various M&A and venture capital matters, including fund raising and stock options, and represent investors, founders and managers in venture capital deals.
The Russian venture capital market is a newly developed market and Russian law in this sector is challenging. So it is always exciting having to adopt it to the clients’ expectations and needs.
My practice is not limited to Russian law. In addition to my membership of the Russian advocate bar, I am also admitted to the New York State Bar and practice English law as a solicitor of England and Wales. This gives me a unique opportunity to provide clients with legal advice in three different jurisdictions.
I graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University in Russia and also hold an LL.M. degree at Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. I also lead a comparative corporate law course at the Lomonosov Moscow State University for graduate students and have several publications on various corporate law matters.
In my spare time I enjoy going to football games in Russia and abroad, and am also a big fan of Tolkien’s Middle Earth and the Star Wars universe.
