I am a business lawyer based in DLA Piper's Northern Virginia Office, representing clients throughout their startup journey − from the start of their business, to financing and restructuring considerations as the business grows, to merger and acquisition activities as the business matures. My clients are intelligent, driven and engaged, which makes every day interesting and rewarding. I help them streamline the legal aspects of their business so that they can focus on their strengths, and I enjoy the creative problem solving that comes with helping them navigate through difficult decisions to get where they want to go.
I graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law, where I was very involved with entrepreneurship initiatives and co-founded Rivanna Investments.
Why startups? What I enjoy most about my work is helping people build businesses. I love being a part of teams that achieve great things.
