I am a corporate attorney who thoroughly enjoys helping thinkers bring their vision to life and doers execute plans that reach for the stars. I believe in adding value to all the people, places and things that I touch. I am particularly passionate about helping companies achieve successful market exits and supporting investors in sponsoring promising startups.
I was born and raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh, as the eldest of three daughters. I came to the United States to attend college at Mount Holyoke – an all-women's school which is the Paradise Island/Themyscira of the world. After law school at NYU, I moved to Silicon Valley – the capital of the world's most innovate and impactful thinkers and doers – to practice law.
In between representing my clients in cross-borders M&As, venture financings and corporate governance matters, I like to bake desserts, experiment with mixing drinks and talk to my mother about how she is making choices to live her best life. My siblings and first cousins live across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Sweden and Bangladesh. I feel right at home here in DLA Piper, where the diversity, talent and camaraderie span the globe.
