I am thrilled to act as external general counsel for some of Canada's fastest-growing emerging companies in all sorts of industries. I assist with day-to-day commercial issues and arrangements and handle mission-critical M&A or financing transactions. I try to bring a bit of a fresh perspective to my practice in that I have been personally involved in establishing and operating multiple business over the years. I am also Co-Chair of DLA Piper's Corporate Group in Canada.
When I'm not working (and even often when I am, in fact, working), I try to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible. Together with my two sons, daughter and my high-school sweetheart, I ski, bike, hike and canoe whenever possible. I also love to coach and play soccer.
