I am a corporate and commercial lawyer who represents entrepreneurs as they establish and grow their businesses. I help them form and organize their companies and seek funding. I also help them with the day-to-day legal issues that confront any growing business, including by advising on customer and supplier agreements and coordinating advice on issues like employment and intellectual property. My entrepreneurial clients operate in a number of industries, including renewable energy, professional services, and technology.
I attended Queen's University in Canada for both my bachelor degree in mechanical engineering and my law degree. Between degrees, I worked in a variety of roles for growing companies and for myself, both here in Canada and overseas. I try to bring those perspectives to the table when helping my emerging company clients. After hours, I try to spend as much time as possible outside with my family, whether on skates, skis or bikes.
