I am a global expansion fellow and law clerk working in the international employment team in DLA Piper Silicon Valley office. Before I joined DLA Piper, I had practiced labor and employment law in China for about six years. With a deep understanding of Chinese employment law and abundant experience assisting multinationals with employment matters, I am currently working to help startups with their employment needs across the globe on a full spectrum of employment relationship matters, such reviewing employment contracts, establishing effective personnel policies and counseling throughout the whole employment life-cycle.
I love to observe how multinationals influence emerging countries' cultures and how country-specific tradition reshapes these global companies in turn. This philosophical thinking habit has helped me successfully deal with stormy industrial actions in international transactions involving China. DLA Piper has been playing a leading role in the global market and delivering practical and innovative legal solution to clients, and its involvement in this area is fascinating. It is a challenge and a pleasure to be part of this team.
When I am not at the office, yoga and dancing is the way of my life. Yoga makes me a vegetarian, pacifies the mind and helps me focus and stay mindful. My goal is to be the best lawyer among dancers and the best dancer among lawyers.
