I am a business lawyer who enjoys working with the entrepreneurial ecosystem, including founders and investors. I provide general outside counsel services and have worked on hundreds of investment transactions, from early seed rounds to late-stage Series G deals, on both sides of the table. I believe in my ability to provide risk-adjusted advice to my clients that fits the specific circumstances of a given situation. I particularly enjoy riding along with clients as they blossom into mature enterprises.
I spend time each month mentoring and training startup founders around the Chicagoland area, working with co-working spaces, incubators, accelerators, universities and other ecosystem players to help educate and strengthen the community.
Back in the day, I played a little college football, but I am not as tough as I used to be. Still, I am not afraid of LLCs. Currently, I live on the north side of Chicago with my wife and two boys, albeit in a neighborhood that is precarious for us as White Sox fans.
