I am an IP & Commercial attorney in the Cologne office (Germany) and responsible for all questions relating to intellectual property and unfair competition law. My main focus lies with rights protection strategies and the review of advertising and marketing concepts as well as enforcing and defending these rights in and out of court. My practice also includes the structuring of contracts, notably software, license and distribution agreements, internet domain disputes, use of digital content and other internet-related issues as well as advising with respect to games and gaming.

I love new challenges and working with people from different cultural backgrounds, different nationalities and countries all over the world. I constantly deal with the various fashion, cosmetic and consumer goods of my clients, but also liquor or even kids' toys and games.

I studied law in Bonn, Dresden and Exeter - where I received my LL.M. - and spent some time in Dublin and New York which contributes to this aspect.

Founding new companies and implementing innovative business ideas are extremely important and the basis of any country's positive economic development. Starting a business requires a lot of courage and involves certain risks. Therefore, I like to support founders and innovative ideas with my legal knowledge with my hands-on approach.

In my spare time I am happy to put aside the literature on legal matters. I like to read exciting thrillers in particular by Jo Nesbo, just to mention one. I also love travelling and meeting new people. I like keeping fit with running and pilates and listening to good music. Sometimes I enjoy even more watching sports, in particular soccer and as well as bloodthirsty movies without happy ending.
