I'm an intellectual property and technology lawyer, and the co-chair of the Canadian Intellectual Property and Technology Group. I help emerging and established companies select and protect their trade-marks and other intellectual property, negotiate their software/technology licence/development agreements, and comply with contest, privacy and anti-spam laws. I work with a broad range of clients, including video game and software developers, outdoor gear retailers, restaurants, breweries and sports companies.
I enjoy swimming, cycling, running and hockey. I'm happy to debate the supremacy of Star Trek vs Star Wars, and I have been engaged in a lengthy program to educate others in my office regarding the merits of ‘80s metal and hair bands.
